About the Event
There's a professional event around the corner and you may be wondering- what do I say to strangers? How do I keep the conversations going and flowing? How can I network effectively? There is value in every event you attend and in this webinar you will learn how to identify and extract that value. Discover how to get the most out of attending an academic or industry event, conference, reception, or mixer, how to introduce yourself and start conversations, how to behave with attendees, how to craft win-win alliances from the first point of contact, and how to follow up and nurture those partnerships to provide value for both you and the other party. Event etiquette (including behavior, dress, and even food and beverage issues!), and appropriate self-promotion tactics will also be discussed. Let's build your confidence so your next event will be a game-changer!
