About our Speakers

Johnny Duda, Ed.D.
Founder, Partner, Director of Academic Programs
Dr. Duda graduated from Harvard University in 1999, and received his doctorate in Education from UCLA in 2011. Johnny has over a decade of experience as a teacher and mentor to middle school, high school and college students. In addition to developing original programs for Vault Prep, Johnny advises select U.S. and international students on their college applications and essays and specializes in working with students with special learning needs.

Rachel Davis, MPhil
Office Director
Rachel Davis graduated from Stanford University with an MS in Anthropological Studies and a BA in Human Biology. Rachel also holds an MPhil from Yale, where she studied Cellular and Molecular Physiology. Rachel has been tutoring professionally for over 10 years including helping her 4 younger siblings (who attended Harvard-Westlake and Brentwood School) with their homework for even longer than that!

Her students range from 4th graders to medical students, but all consider her friendly, approachable, and dedicated. In addition to her full-time work with Vault Prep, she also edits scientific manuscripts for publication in journals such as Nature and Science. She is an AP Scholar with Distinction and a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. She tutors the SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, and US History, PSAT, SSAT, ISEE, MCAT, DAT, and academic Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math.

  • Buffet Lunch will be available for $20 in advance via the website, $20 at the door (cash or credit). This price includes the buffet, iced tea, sherbert, tax and tip. Other drinks and desserts are available a la carte. Full credit for future OC lunches can be given if you pay in advance but cannot attend at the last minute. It is not necessary to purchase lunch in order to attend this event.
  • Walk-ins are welcome, space permitting. Guests are always welcome.
  • We are usually located in Conference Room C, which is all the way in the back of the Club, past the buffet service tables. If the room is changed for some reason, signs will guide you.
  • Parking is free in the University Club lot.  If the lot is full, parking is available in the Anteater Parking Structure two blocks away for a fee (directions below).
